Many of Dr. Sadati’s patients live in the Newport Beach, California area. This lovely woman was putting off cosmetic surgery because of concerns about post-operative side effects related to general anesthesia. After reading many of Dr. Sadati’s 600+ 5-star reviews, she scheduled a consultation to learn more about local anesthesia and twilight sedation. Dr. Sadati explained that it was similar to the type of sedation used during a routine colonoscopy. After setting her mind at ease, they discussed ways to tighten her neck and return her sagging jawline to a more elevated position. She also wanted her eyes to be looking youthful.
She opted for a lower face and neck lift, as well as upper eyelid lift and under eye laser to achieve a more youthful appearance. Her recovery was quick, and she was back to work in 10 days without any signs of surgery. In her 8-week post-op “after” picture, she looks like she additional volume added to her cheeks, but the improved fullness was actually the natural result of Dr. Sadati’s artistry. Her neck now looks 10 years younger and no longer sags or looks heavy.
Before she came back for these photos, she had already recommended Dr. Sadati to her friends and had contributed her own review to the growing list of other patients who were overjoyed with Dr. Sadati’s work. “I felt I needed to confirm for others what I learned on my own. Choosing you fulfilled my goal of having the best possible outcome thanks to the best plastic surgeon in Orange County.”
All patients experience numbness after undergoing a facelift. This occurs because the skin is lifted away from the face during the surgery, and the nerves are unable to communicate properly. Numbness can take some time to go away as the nerves return to normal. Dr. Sadati always advises patients to expect numbness, but you should contact him if you’re concerned that the feeling hasn’t returned if you’re worried.
Small lumps under the skin are also normal and can be caused by swelling, sutures, or fluid collecting under the skin. These also go away with time, but gently massaging the area may help them dissipate faster. If you’re concerned about either of these things, please feel free to discuss them with Dr. Sadati.
