Procedure Description:
Many of Dr. Sadatis patients travel to Orange County because of his outstanding reputation. When this patient came from the Los Angeles area to meet with him, she already knew about his extensive experience. Since he had performed more than 3,500 face and neck lifts with great success, she felt he was the best cosmetic facelift surgeon for the job.
She was primarily concerned about the sagging skin in her upper neck, the loss of her smooth jawline, and the way her cheeks were sagging. When she arrived for her surgery, Dr. Sadati administered local anesthesia with twilight sedation. This allowed him to perform her procedure in a less invasive way so that she wouldnt have unwanted nausea or vomiting that comes with general anesthesia. He removed some excess skin and fatty tissue from her neck, then tightened the muscles, restoring the slim youthful appearance of her neck. He then performed her lower facelift by applying uniform tension to her face and disguised her sutures within a natural fold of skin, so they wouldnt be obvious. She healed beautifully and thanked Dr. Sadati during her 8-week follow-up appointment. Your past patients were right, she said. You are a true artist, and Im so glad I finally found you.
Dr. Sadati believes in treating each patient individually because there is not one specific procedure that best addresses a particular concern. If your neck and chin are sagging, you may have excess tissue or fat that would need to be removed. Some sagging is caused by a lack of elasticity and is treated by performing a lower facelift. Everything from environmental factors, to lifestyle, to genetics plays a role in the way tissue ages. To find out which types of procedures may address your concerns, Dr. Sadati recommends reviewing the gallery photos of his past patients. The “before” and “after” photos will help you compare your facial concerns with other patients who’ve undergone specific procedures. It is best to review these photos and then meet with a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon to discuss the options that will yield the most effective results.
