This beautiful patient shown in this picture has undergone a mini facelift by Dr. Sadati. As you can see, in her before photo, there are early signs of aging in the neck and jowl area. By removing excess fat, tightening underlying muscle, and re-draping the skin of the face and neck all those visible signs are erased.

This lift was done in about 90 minutes without using general anesthesia, yet her results will last for years. She looks refreshed and rested, yet natural. The Lunchtime lift sounds great, but it is deceiving in the sense that it is not a true facelift. It is another name for a “thread lift”.

In these types of procedure, a thread with tiny ‘barbs’ attached is “threaded” through the area to be addressed and then pulled without removing any excess skin. As you can imagine, it may cause tissue bunching and irregularity.

This technique is losing its popularity very quickly among facial plastic surgeons because of the risk of bunching, breaking and short-term results. Dr. Sadati does not believe that the results of a Lunch time face lift will last long enough, and are not satisfactory to patients, nor are they cost effective.
