This patient traveled from the Palm Springs area to meet with Dr. Sadati after learning he had been named the “Best Cosmetic Surgeon in Orange County” by the Orange County Register 4 years in a row. She was very nervous about anesthesia and wanted a plastic surgeon with extensive experience.
Dr. Sadati explained that he had performed more than 3,500 face and neck lifts utilizing local anesthesia and twilight sedation, which helped her feel confident about the procedure and his expertise. After discussing his Double “C” Plication technique and the details associated with recovery, she was excited to proceed.
In her “after” pictures, her neck shows how beautifully Dr. Sadati’s work healed. Her double chin is gone, and there is marked improvement in the suprasternal notch. The skin on her face and neck looks smooth and taut without appearing unnaturally pulled or tight. The vertical lines in her cheeks have been minimized, and her jawline has a more feminine appearance. “I even look like I lost weight,” she remarked. “I’ll be adding my own 5-star review to your testimonial list because you delivered on every promise you made.”
Your Surgery Questions Answered with Dr. Kevin Sadati
Are revision facelift and neck lift surgeries common?
When choosing a plastic surgeon, it is important to review his or her gallery of “before” and “after” photos in advance. A surgeon’s skill is apparent in these photos, and if you feel that the results you see in these images look unsatisfactory, you should choose another surgeon. Every patient is unique, so results will vary, but a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon with years of experience rarely has to perform a revision facelift.
The patient’s weight can be a factor in the initial outcome, and there is a fine line between taking too little tissue and removing too much. If a patient truly requires a revision, then Dr. Sadati recommends that he or she wait at least one year after the initial surgery before considering a revision.
