His academic journey took him to the Kansas City School of Medicine, Biosciences, where he laid the foundation for his medical career. A demanding general surgery residency in Philadelphia at PCOM/Jefferson Health Systems honed his surgical skills. Recognized as a standout talent, he was selected from a highly competitive pool to complete a formal plastic surgery fellowship.
Under the mentorship of leading experts at Hahnemann University, Thomas Jefferson University, and Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, Dr. Tehrani refined his art. Elected Chief Plastic Surgery Fellow, he actively contributed to the training of emerging surgeons.
Upon completing his plastic surgery fellowship, Dr. Tehrani returned to Southern California, where he established his multi-location offices. However, his commitment to changing lives extended beyond his clinic. Driven by a lifelong passion for helping the less fortunate, he joined the Paul Chester Children’s Hope Foundation in 2010. He became a dedicated plastic surgeon, serving in Kenya and the Dominican Republic.
