Dr. Tehrani goes one step further and uses an ultrasound to ensure all the fat is injected above the gluteal muscle.  Ultrasound guided BBL is the only way to nearly eliminate the chance of fat emboli during injection.  Dr. Tehrani identifies the muscle layer and the subcutaneous layers with the ultrasound and then injects the fat strategically into the various anatomical zones of the buttock to achieve the desired enhancement.
