What is Restylane® Defyne?
At the Aesthetic Lounge in Newport Beach, California, our team offers a variety of facial rejuvenation procedures, including dermal filler injections with products created by Restylane®. For nearly 20 years, these products have been used to diminish the signs of aging, and newer formulations continue to be developed. Restylane® has recently introduced two more FDA-approved dermal fillers, one of which is Restylane® Defyne. These new fillers offer outstanding flexibility, which makes them ideal for use in the areas around the mouth and under the eyes.
When compared to traditional dermal fillers, Restylane® Defyne is different because it is crafted using cross-linking technology (XpresHAn Technology™). This innovative technology allows the injector to perform facial rejuvenation procedures that provide patients with natural-looking, flexible results that do not affect the patient’s facial expressions.

Am I a Good Candidate for Restylane® Defyne?

Your Results with Restylane® Defyne
Results can be immediately noticeable following your Restylane® Defyne treatment.
Patients need to avoid squeezing or massaging the treated areas; otherwise, the results achieved can be negatively affected. Cold packs can be used to reduce bruising and swelling. The cold packs can remain on the treated areas for approximately 15 minutes each hour. This icing procedure should continue for several hours after the dermal filler treatment. It is important to note that ice should never be placed directly on the skin. Patients who received injections in their cheeks are required to sleep on their backs the night of their procedure.
