Why choose PRF for a More Natural Result?

One of the questions we get when it comes to fillers is if there’s something that is more natural than other fillers on the market. PRF is a great alternative for people who want to increase the production of collagen and hyaluronic acid in certain areas of the face. PRF is an alternative to other fillers or can be used in combination with other HA (Hyaluronic Acid) fillers on the market to help replace lost volume.

How does PRF work?

The Platelet-Rich Fibrin (PRF) technique generates a Fibrin Matrix rich in Platelets and other stem cells. This results in the constant release of growth factors for about 12 days that accelerate tissue healing and skin regenerating processes. During treatment a vial of the patient’s blood is taken prior to treatment, it is then spun in a centrifuge designed to extract PRF. When done this way the fibrin matrix acts like a kind of web that holds on to the platelets.

From there it is harvested and used either alone or in combination with hyaluronic acid fillers to add volume to the face. Another common use is PRF alongside a micro-needling treatment to rejuvenate the skin on the face and neck. It has been shown to improve the texture and appearance of the skin.

I recommend The Aesthetic Lounge without hesitation!

My experience with The Aesthetic Lounge is extremely positive. I received a series of lymphatic massages after facial surgery with Dr. Sadati. I have never experienced a better set of facials. My skin has never looked or felt better. My experience from the beautiful reception area and appointment desk to the highly skilled care providers was first class in every way. I recommend The Aesthetic Lounge without hesitation!

Positive, Punctual, Cleanly, Quality, & Professional.

No one tried to oversell me treatment or products. The staff is very professional and honest about what they can and cannot do.

A+ experience from the moment I walked in.

A+ experience from the moment I walked in. The staff, receptionist, nurses, and social media process were all professional and aided in my decision to go forward.

PRP vs PRF: Why is PRF Better?

  • The higher concentration in platelets boosts the creation of natural collagen.
  • The higher concentration of white blood cells, which are usually low in concentration in PRP preparations, secrete additional growth factors.
  • You can expect less bruising than PRP since no anticoagulants are used.
