Breast Lift Newport Beach & Orange County

Rejuvenate and reshape the breasts for a lifted, youthful profile.

In addition to breast augmentation, many women decide to have a breast lift procedure to adjust the position of their breasts. This is usually done after giving birth as the process of pregnancy and subsequent nursing can leave the breasts sitting lower on the chest and less full than before. A breast lift procedure can restore the breasts to a youthful, upright position and can be combined with breast augmentation techniques for the breast profile you’ve been dreaming of. Dr. Florin has experience with a variety of techniques and can provide the guidance and professional service required for the best possible outcome.

Preparing for Your Breast Lift

Your private consultation with Dr. Florin is one of the most important steps you can take during your treatment process with the Gallery of Cosmetic Surgery & Aesthetic Lounge. This appointment allows Dr. Florin to examine your body and recommend a unique treatment plan that aligns with your aesthetic goals. You can also discuss any questions or concerns you have about your procedure process and discuss whether you might also benefit from our effective breast enhancement techniques at the same time.

Patients that benefit most from breast lift techniques generally show the following traits:

  • Breasts that point downward with nipples that fall below the breast fold
  • Breasts that are too large and saggy for their figure
  • Breasts that appear deflated or voluminous only in the lower region

Once you and Dr. Florin decide that a breast lift would be ideal for you, our patient coordinators can assist you in booking your procedure date and making sure you have care steps to follow before and after your procedure.

Dr. Florin’s Breast Lift Method

Your breast lift procedure is performed at our state-of-the-art Gallery of Cosmetic Surgery facilities by the top cosmetic & plastic surgeon, Dr. Florin. During your private consultation, Dr. Florin will ensure you understand each unique step of your breast lift procedure, and our compassionate medical staff can take steps to ease any nerves before your procedure and see that you are comfortable. You will be sedated during the procedure, which begins with a predetermined incision on each breast. This allows access to the underlying tissue and fat that can be removed or manipulated to create a new shape and profile. As the name implies, the skin is then lifted to a tighter, perkier position, and the areolae can be adjusted in position as well.

The incisions are sutured close in a way that decreases scarring and offers superior subtlety upon healing. Dr. Florin will ensure that you understand your options for reducing scarring and what to expect in the long term.

What to Expect During Your Breast Lift Recovery

“Dr. Florin made me feel comfortable with my plastic surgery decisions. She was honest and supportive of my wants and needs. She is personable and listens to concerns. She takes her time with her customers so I never felt rushed to decide or rushed through questions or concerns. I will definitely come back!"

After your procedure, you’ll be monitored and provided for by our expert nurses, and we offer the comfort of our luxurious guest suites for your initial recovery. If you choose to go home, we require that you travel with a close friend or family member who should also watch over you for the first couple of days. You should rest during this time and refrain from any extensive activity which can include lifting or reaching, as this can affect your incisions and healing ability. Dr. Florin will prescribe pain medication for your comfort and to also reduce swelling at the incision sites. Your full recovery can take up to a few weeks, depending on whether you also opt for implants or natural enhancement.

Your Private Consultation

Dr. Florin offers excellent cosmetic surgical techniques and even more excellent patient care, taking the time to answer your questions, ensure you’re comfortable, and check on your recovery process. The Gallery of Cosmetic Surgery & Aesthetic Lounge invites you to contact us to schedule your personalized consultation and enjoy our luxurious facilities and accommodating staff.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Is a breast lift covered by insurance?

Cosmetic surgery that is not deemed medically necessary is not covered by insurance. In the vast majority of cases, this applies to breast lifts.

Do I need a breast lift or just implants?

Breast lifts are good at getting a more youthful or perky appearance to the breasts, whereas implants enhance their volume. If your concerns include wanting a bigger size and having them higher on the chest, you would be a candidate for both procedures.

Do you lose sensation with breast lift?

No, although some loss of sensation is possible, this side effect is almost always temporary.

Do you still have feeling in your nipples after breast lift?

Yes, nipple sensitivity may temporarily be reduced or not present, but as the tissues heal sensation normally returns.

Does a breast lift cost more than implants?

Although the two procedures achieve different results, they tend to be comparably priced.

Does a breast lift leave scars?

Yes, a breast lift procedure will leave a scar. However, scars tend to heal very well over time. Scars can be hidden in discreet locations for the most natural-looking appearance following the procedure.

Does a breast lift make your nipples less sensitive?

It is common to have decreased sensitivity (numbness) to the breasts and nipples temporarily after surgery. It is not common to have permanent numbness. If this is a concern, make sure to talk with your surgeon about your preferences.

Does insurance pay for breast lift?

A breast lift is not typically covered by insurance since it is considered a cosmetic procedure. We encourage each patient to check with their provider for specific coverage prior to their consultation.

How do you shower after a breast lift?

Yes, you can shower after a breast lift. You cannot soak in water or take a bath for about 6-8 weeks after surgery but you are able to shower starting the day after surgery.

How long do breast lift results last?

Plastic surgery cant halt the aging process in its tracks, but it can provide rejuvenation that makes your breasts appear youthful for many years.

Most breast lift surgeries take between three and four hours.

How long does it take for breast lift scars to heal?

The incision sites are typically healed within 2-3 months following a breast lift, although the scars will continue to heal for years following the procedure. Most of the healing of the scars occurs in the first year yet scars will continue to lighten and be less visible for years after the procedure.

How painful is a breast lift?

You can expect some discomfort after your breast lift within the first few days, but it can be well managed with prescribed medications. Most pain subsides within a week or so.

How soon after breast lift can I exercise?
